What influences have shaped your work?
My earliest influence is home, where my father and family taught me that integrity, hard work and caring for people are the foundations of a meaningful career and life.
How do you include clients in the process?
We listen and let their ideas set the foundation. From there, we hold regular owner, architect and contractor (OAC) meetings to keep decisions timely and expectations aligned. Daily visibility, availability and transparency aren’t extras, they are the work.
What sets your firm apart?
Exceptional craftsmanship, transparent communication and a family-oriented approach. At Perez Construction, we don’t just build beautiful spaces, we create peace of mind.
What is your biggest challenge?
Developing project managers who share our client-first ethic. To navigate this, we train for both the technical and the relational, and stress to our team that people remember how you made them feel.
Share client priorities that are shaping your current projects.
Sustainability is now assumed. Beyond that, clients want flexibility, wellness and organization. Home offices are essential, steam and sauna spaces are common and custom storage is being designed as intentionally as the kitchen.
What’s next?
To stay focused and get even better at what we already do well, as opposed to chasing rapid growth. To achieve this, we are refining our systems, investing in our team and aiming to be the clear choice for high-end residential remodeling in the Bay Area.

FOUNDED ON WHAT Owner and CEO Everson Perez calls “Families Serving Families,” Perez Construction has emerged as one of San Francisco’s premier residential remodelers with a multigenerational trade legacy and mission to create a path for the next generation of Latino construction leaders. Launched in 2017 after Perez joined his father’s subcontracting practice, the firm is recognized as the 12th largest 100-percent Latino-owned business in the Bay Area. Perez notes that their work at the 2024 San Francisco Decorator Showcase, which involved “taking two rooms to the studs in one year,” proved their stamina and collaborative rigor. Known for craftsmanship, communication and care, the team delivers full-home remodels with a tech-forward, on-budget process and an eye for sustainability.
