10 Easy Steps To Get You Your Ideal Home

    Fill Out Our Form

    Share with us as many details as you can about the project you have in mind, including what is not currently working, and your new vision for your home. This will ensure that we are well prepared for our zoom consultation and can use your time wisely to see if we might be a mutual fit.

    Zoom Consultation

    We’ll schedule a zoom conversation about your goals for your home and how we can help you materialize it. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and get to know us as a firm.

    On-Site Consultation

    We have an on-site consultation to meet in person and evaluate the existing conditions of your home. Coming out of this meeting, we will be able to share ballpark timing and cost estimates. We charge a $300 fee for site visits, which is credited toward your account.

    Design Phase

    Our partners will design your new space, from layout conception, all the way to finishes like tiles, countertops, and light fixtures. Alternatively, if you already have an architect or designer on board, we can collaborate with them. The design phase often happens concurrently with the pre-construction phase.

    Pre-Construction Phase

    The goal of the pre-construction phase is to collaborate with you and your architect and/or designer to align on a final scope, budget, and timeline. Typical activities can include schematic budgeting, including revisions based on scope alternatives, value engineering, and exploratory demolition.

    Permitting

    Your architect will manage the permitting. Alternatively, we can support the permitting process from the city government, as we have an in-house permit consultant. We also schedule building, plumbing, electrical, and any special inspections as required during the construction phase.

    Protect Your Home and the Site

    We set up all our equipment and make sure that your house is kept structurally safe before we start any demolition. If we are only remodeling a portion of the house, we also seal and protect any other areas that are not going to be under construction in order to keep the dust across the house to a minimum.

    We Get to Work

    We work our magic and before you know it, your home will be updated! During the construction phase, we share a “daily log” at the end of every day, with an update on the day's activities and the plan for the following day, with photos or videos. We also update the schedule every week with any changes to ensure everything stays on time.

    Cleaning Up and Post-Job Walkthrough

    Once our work is done, we have your home professionally cleaned, leaving it spotless and ready for you to move back in and enjoy. We also do final walkthroughs with you and your designer to ensure everything is to your liking.

    Warranty

    We warranty all our work. In the event that something happens that is within our control, we come in and get it fixed for you free of charge. After the warranty period, we’re more than willing to help you with anything your home may need.
