The owners of this delightful Sunnyside home selected us for a two-phase project, in partnership with Marc Lindsell and Mark Tetrault of 2M Architecture. The couple had previously done some minor projects to the upstairs and were ready to tackle the major project, which was building out the entire bottom story of the home and adding an addition to the back. With guidance from the 2M team, the homeowners decided to split the project into two phases, as the addition required approval from the Planning Department. Phase One took nine months and consisted of major excavation and structural work to achieve the desired ceiling height and layout.

Once the addition was approved by the city, we returned for Phase Two to complete the addition and tie the entire space together. The clients were involved every step of the way and have their fingerprints all over the finished product, from the fixtures all the way down to the tiniest details of the tile layout. They now have a beautiful downstairs space they use for working from home, entertaining friends and family, or relaxing in their new sauna.
